From Inception to Final Product
The idea for my maze came somewhat slowly. I knew initially that I wanted to have a somewhat circular design without any straight lines but I also did not want to do the somewhat generic single circle with paths leading to the center. Instead what I decided to do was put several circles on the same rectangular area and have them meet up with one another. this progressively turned into the series of intersecting circles in the final product as seen in the slideshow below. I didn't really have any preliminary sketches since I had a vague idea in my head already and just kind of improvised as I went.

In Conclusion
I learned a lot about using the CNC router through this project since I had two attempts in total on my maze. Through my initial failure I learned to refine my tool path process and verify that all of the measurements and depths were correct. I also got more time using the router itself so I am much more comfortable using it now than I was initially. I now feel adequately able to use this machine without aid thanks to this experience.
